Formula overview
The core peptide reconstitution formula is concentration = vial amount in mg divided by water amount in mL. From there, target amount in mg divided by concentration gives the volume in mL to draw, and that volume multiplied by 100 gives U-100 syringe units. Every value is user-entered.
Worked examples
If you enter 10 mg in the vial and 2 mL of bacteriostatic water, concentration is 5 mg per mL. For a target amount of 1 mg, volume is 1 divided by 5, or 0.2 mL, which is 20 units on a U-100 syringe. Change any input and the arithmetic updates.
mg and mcg handling
When the target amount is entered in mcg, convert by dividing by 1000 to get mg before applying the formula, or multiply concentration in mg per mL by 1000 to get mcg per mL. Peptific handles the unit conversion automatically from the target unit you select.
Syringe units
